The Cutters have become a highly successful club over the past 15 years competing in nine of the last fourteen Grand Finals. Off the field the club has an enviable culture, strong corporate structure and committee in place to take us well into the future.

Opened in May 2016 a new social club was established with in excess of 7000 members, the club.  Constructed in partnership with AFL Cairns and Cazaly's - the new social club is the largest development seen on the southside of Cairns in over 10 years.  The social club includes a restaurant, a fully licensed bar, function and gaming rooms and opened in May 2016.

In 2011, aware of our social obligations and desire to commemorate the passing of one our players - Kris Seivers - the football club dedicated a portion of the days proceeds to a chosen charity.  Over $15000 has been raised since then to support such worthwhile causes icluding Beyond Blue, Breast Cancer Awareness, Haralds House, and Give 5 for Kids and the Declan Crouch Foundation.
